My husband, Matthew, and I host weekly music sessions for retirees. Kind of like School of Rock for adults, but free of charge. We play a lot of bluegrass, folk and old Gospel.
We meet on Wed and Thursdays at The Disabled American Veterans big red barn on Dequindre in Rochester Hills.
Our Big Red Barn Open Mic will be the first fundraiser for veterans this year! Our goal is to raise $1,000 to help maintain their barn for meetings and music.
