Born in Hartford CT and growing up mainly in Rockville, Troy Curtis's music reflects a mixture of both urban and rural communities. From his self taught country-blues guitar style and soulful jazz vocals, to the urban beats he uses, Troy's music is a powerful cocktail of the makeshift and the eternal. Part African-American, French- Canadian, Cherokee and legend has it - Scottish, this artist's patchwork past and wayward ways pour through his lyrics. Over the last 4 years Troy produced ep's: If You Died Yesterday 2005, Songs For Girls Who Don't Deserve Them 2006, We've Got Us 2007. Since then, Troy's focus has been developing his sound and approach. Now firmly rooted, Troy is currently working on his Debut full length album SLEEPERWAVE to be released summer 09'
