Thank you for your interest in our Open Mic. I have been running the Uxbridge Legion Sunday Afternoon Open Mic for almost two years.
We are at 109 Franklin St. in the basement Club Room every Sunday from 2:00 till 5:00, or quite often longer if we have a groove going.
The atmosphere is casual; all styles of music are welcome. Most often our drummer is there, we have harmonica players that show up also very good lead guitar players.
Harmony singers are available; we all just love the music, and are very happy to join in when invited.
Of course, there is no guarantee of how many folks show up due to weather, holidays, etc. On average we have 20 audience members and 10 to 12 performers.
Each player gets a minimum of 3 songs and depending on the player turn out up to 5 songs. We keep things moving along pretty well so there is mostly music.
There is a Great Listening Audience. They are there for the music.
As a bonus we have a 50/50 draw, with extra door prizes.
I would recommend you come check us out, I know you will enjoy yourself and hopefully you will bring your instrument and do a few tunes.
