I have been playng guitar since 4th grade. I started at hootenanys so I play much by ear but I did take a summer worth of jazz lessons (from Sal) so I have picked up a few things along the way. In the last 3 years I have improved my playing significantly by attending the UWM Folk Society's String Along Weekend in the Fall. I cannot reccomend this enough. I also play some mandolin and banjo. My nain guitqars are Guilds 6 string and 12 string but I have a Variax acoustic 700 which is magic.
