Conscious Culture is an open mic event for poets, painting artists and live music performers.
Where poetry/spoken word meets live music and painted art.
Against a background of painted art donated by local Tampa area artists, WE-LIT, Inc. spoken word performers with other bay area and visiting featured artists deliver original works accompanied by local percussion artists playing live rhythms on Djembe Drums, Tongue Drums and other worldwide cultural instruments.
Live music artists: Acoustic and electric guitar artists are invited to display talents adding improvised blues, soul and other unique string instrument sounds to accompany the spoken word performances.
