I am an optometrist at the Stratton VAMC. I am a regular performer at both the Old Songs and Professor Java's monthly open mike nights. I have played guitar and sung at private parties, the Israel Cafe sponsored by JERNY on New Scotland Ave. in Albany, and at various senior citizens centers over the years. I have participated at the National Guitar Workshop in New Milford, Conn., studying with such prominent musicians as British folksinger Martin Simpson and former Wings lead guitarist Laurence Jubar. I have also taken lessons with local Old Songs musicians George Ward and Roger Mock.

For 15 years, I was a tenor and regular guitarist for the Ne'imah Jewish Community Chorus and served as their president for a lengthy period. I have also been a professional High Holiday cantor for area synagogues.

I like to perform covers of folk, blues, and soft rock music. I also perform jazz and classical guitar.

I recently recorded two demo CDs with Sand Creek Music Studio.
