I believe that the American family is in danger of becoming a museum exhibit of Father Knows Best and Leave It To Beaver. Grandparents will take their grandchildren to the exhibit and show them the American values once taught around our dinner tables. These were the fabric that held our American Dream together but they have become worn and threadbare for many as everyone flies off in their own direction with little or no time for family. We know that music and song has the power to cross all boundaries, but in my Kingdom it also has the power to mend tears and strengthen ties. In this Kingdom, song allows the wisdom of seniors to be appreciated by our youth and "friend" does not mean a picture on Facebook but someone you truly share your time with. In Karaoke Kingdom, the power of love shared through music and songs can change the world, one family or friend at a time.
