Ruin/Renewal was born in 2008 as a controlled detonation in an antiquated heating oil annex, often audible over the commuter rails of Newburyport, Massachusetts on muggy summer nights. Their oscillating blend of melodious rock is the creation of innovative guitarist Joshua Pritchard, known locally for his work with the reticent rock outfit Peals.
