Hello ! My name is John Hasnip. I hail from a little island called England.
I have all my own teeth and a pretty dodgy haircut!
I play guitar and sing many songs from the last 60 or so years, everyone from The Everly Brothers, The Beatles, The Who, Green Day, Elvis Costello, Rod Stewart, Tears For Fears, Oasis, The Smiths, Kinks, Nick Lowe, Violent Femmes, Rolling Stones, The English Beat and so so many more.
I have lived in Maine for the last 5 years. I have been a professional musician for 20.
I have played over a 1000 gigs in many countries, over many continents, from pubs in England to bars in America, and even Digby Scollop festival in Nova Scotia, Canada !
I have quality equipment, a Bose sound Sytem and Yamaha mixer which delivers profesional results every time.
I have a website at www.johnhasnip.com which has many video's, music, pictures and also my calender for the coming year.
I am professional, friendly, accomodating, versatile and i like to think an asset to a night of creating music, i love engaging an audience and encouraging them to sing a long, to get involved and enjoy the experience.
I am also part of a duo called The Court Jesters, who specialise in classic tunes with Beautiful harmonies, who are also available for hire.
