Gregg is a 48 year old singer/songwriter from the Gainesville Florida area. In the late 70's and early 80's he was bass player for Southern Rock band; The Dixie Desperados. Toured as opening act for Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, Molly Hatchett, Pure Prairie League, Henry Paul Band, Johnny Van Zant Band, Three Dog Night, Pat Travers and many others throughout that period. Moved to Nashville in 1985 where he wrote songs and played bass in a Punkabilly band: Chip and the Chiltons. Returned to Florida in 1995 to take a break from the buz. Released his self titled CD in February 2006 produced by Jeff Sims and Stan Lynch of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers/#1 hit songwriter/producer. Gregg has been touring around Florida promoting his CD as an acoustic solo and with his acoustic band; The Blue Lucindas and was at this years Florida Folk Festival all 3 days. Gregg hosts a "Songwriters/Open Mike night" in Gainesville Florida at Calico Jacks( calicojacks3@bellsouth.net ) weekly on Thursday nights from 7 till 11pm. PLEASE NOTE NOVEMBER 16th AND NOVEMBER 23rd(THANKSGIVING) 2006...THERE WILL BE NO OPEN MIKE. WE WILL RESUME AFTER THANKSGIVING.
