Open Mics in Joliet, IL
The Joliet Bakery aka (The Drunkin Donut)
Every Wednesday evening, The Joliet Bakery aka (Drunken Donut) comes alive with fresh, homegrown performers from the Chicagoland area. Musicians, poets, and comedians of all levels of experience are invited to sign our sign up sheet to play a 15min set of material. The non-performing public is heartily welcome as well. Electric Wednesday is a unique, fun, open mic that has an overwhelming amount of character.
Stan, owner and bartender, can also be seen every Wednesday evening for a good chat while enjoying live entertainment. Electric Wednesday was inspired by Katie Dulny and Zak Alberico, and has been hosted by them ever since. This is a night to celebrate each others talents and build community.
Come out and play.
We have a Bose L1 model II with b2 bass cab. Instruments and vocals come through crystal clear. You will have true clear sound (good or bad) every time you perform.
Bring your instrument and plug in.
No instrument? Buy me a beer and use ours. :)
If you are a singer we have some great musicians to perform with or go solo with our karaoke options.
We will have a Cajon provided for percussion on days we do not have a drum kit.
There will be a signup sheet with the MC running the open mic. First come first served. Your performance time will be dictated by demand.
Anyone that enjoys live music will have a blast hanging out with us at Sidelines Bar in Joliet.

You will not need to look very hard to find something fun to do here or just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Note: We will be very open minded with our entertainers. However we reserve the right to deny those we deem to be offensive performances.
