All types of performers welcome to this cabaret style open mic at one hellava gem of a pub, Scottish Dave's (24 East Main St Clinton CT) that has great food, a great sounding room and a nicely lit stage.
8pm-12am Monday Nights.
Back line guitar drums and bass available.
Stage time varies.
Accompanists likely available to collaborate.
Your host, Adam Brandt, is a singer/songwriter and a professional sound and stage lighting person who will help you look and sound your best every week :)
If you have never eaten at Dave's, you have gotta try the onion bajis or the Guinness stew… or the pastrtami melt- which is only 8 bucks WITH FRIES bc SCOTTISH DAVE is a good friend to the starving artist who cut his jib as a catering chef and fronting/playing guitar in bands.
Dave and his wife, Phylis, perform every Saturday evening with their Celtic band, The Corbys, which includes the legendary Howie West on lead guitar. Good vibes, traditional songs. sing-a-longs, and always a fun time :)
PS- Wings are also highly recommended. I order them with UP YOUR KILT sauce at least once a week. Ask for them fried naked if you're GF like me :)
