Nuestra Voz / Our Voice Open Mic :: holding space for poetry, story-telling, spoken-word, reflections, music and more. Friends, neighbors, and community are invited to share (original works or pieces by others; we have a selection of books on hand to peruse for anyone who wants to share but doesn't have work with them) or to listen. While we will never censor artist content, we believe that hate speech of any kind--toward self or others--is not a productive part of community-building.
Sign-ups will be available at 6:45pm; event begins at 7:00pm. FREE :: GRATIS. All are welcome at this community event and artists of all ages, styles, and languages are encouraged to sign-up and share poems, songs, stories, raps, rhymes, and more!
