Hello, I have a few questions… Are you looking for any kind of particular sound for the open mics? Because Brookfield a band from Colorado Springs would like to get in a few venues here in foco but they are more of a rock band. They also would have a drum set and some other things to set up like bass, electric guitars, amps ect. Would your venue accommodate these larger items and time for setting up?

Hi Sarah!It might be too late to answer your question,but I'll answer it anyway.Avos welcomes all kinds of talent from everywhere.The stage is set up so you can come in and Jam with your band.All sets are 4 songs or 20 minutes or whichever comes first.

i play acoustic guitar and sing but i do stuff that has already been done from classic rock artists. does that still work?… plus i am only 20 years old… would i still be able to play?

Most of the musicians do write their own music.But if you want to play covers,thats fine too.Now I can not garrenty that they will let you in the bar under the age of 21 because 21 means 21.But there are lots of coffee shops in Fort Collins that have Open Mic.Look around and post it here if it's any good.

I have gone to Avogadros web site.This Open Mic has been going for years and it's not about to stop in the near future.If you havent been here yet,you should!This vnue is not just supporting Live Music,it supports your right to come share your original music with others.

This Summer Open Mic will stay the same as usual.While Open Mic is going on,there will be a band playing on the padio as well.The doors in the entertainment room will be shut so there is no interfearence from the bars jukebox or the patio performances.If you are a piano player,and would like to use Avo's piano,you are welcome to do so.Just remember that the piano does not fit on stage and exspect your back facing the audience so mics don't feed back.
