For over 15 years, this acoustic event has seen hundreds of songwriters and plenty of great songs. It's in a small performing space next to Oz's music store (and a few steps away from one of Ann Arbor's best deli's.) The open mic is videotaped for a community-access TV show seen here and in Grand Rapids.

Hi Marty, welcome back. Would love to see you on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30. Come and play that song of yours that goes "I met a friend today hey hey hey." And yes the TV show is still on--- Thursdays at 4 pm and Friday at 8 pm, on Channel 17 in Ann Arbor. (Also runs in Grand Rapids on Thursdays.) (
