Clayton Willoughby (4/2010): I stopped in at the Guthrie Center on Thursday. The Open Mic is still strong. I was very impressed by the caliber of song writing, character of the performers, and the receptiveness of the crowd. It seemed more a hootenanny than an open mic. It was enjoyable throughout, and I really felt immersed in the genuine warmth and community feeling. It's a worthy evening at the Guthrie!

Bill & Eli Perras (12/2007): This is the premier open mic, great people good times and some of the best talent is all hidden away in this little church that was made famous by the Arlo Guthrie song. Don't be shy, it is the perfect venue for getting rid of being nervous in public. There always seems to be room to fit another person!
Eric Erkkinen (12/2006) Very impressed with your open mic. My name is Chrissy and we drive from Catskill NY, to be apart of this great place. The sound guy was fantastic, the acoustics were right on. The talented people that performed this past Thursday 8-30-07 was so enjoyable. I will definately be back.
