We're assuming that most, if not all, of the non-virtual Open Mikes listed on this site are on hold for now. Rather than encourage anyone to go out for no good reason, we're marking all Open Mikes on-hold until we hear otherwise from the listing owners.
Sunday Jump is a community open mic series at Pilipino Workers Center in LA's Historic Filipinotown.
Volunteer to Set Up: 3:30 PM
Food: 4:00 PM
DJ Sound Selection: 4:30 PM
Sign-ups: 4:45 PM
Open mic: 5-7 PM
All are welcome to sign up. Priority will be given to first timers for on-call. The mic will be open for every artist that would like to share and build a community with us!
Open mic-ers have 4 minutes MAX. Strongly encouraged to provide copies of text for those hard of hearing and deaf.
We have only two community guidelines: (1) Express, not impress and (2) Free speech, not hate speech. As a safe space for all who have ever been marginalized, express free speech and share your story!

Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) is a non-profit organization located in Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles, but serves Filipinos throughout Southern California. Wheelchair accessible. No stairs. Chairs are provided, and people are not expected to stand. Two bathrooms are gender neutral. ASL Interpreters are available upon request with three weeks notice. Open mic-ers are strongly encouraged to provide copies of text for those hard of hearing and deaf. Amplified sound; volume is sporadically loud. Room is air-conditioned; wear layers if temperature sensitive. Use scent-free materials and be aware of fragrance sensitivity.
Street parking is free on Glendale Blvd and nearby residential areas. Meters are free on Sundays.
There is no nearby subway station. One bus stop (14/37) is on Beverly and Belmont. It is a 6 minute walk or 1/4 mile (500 meters) from venue.
