Milkman's Jamboree (music, comedy, poetry)
Selected Saturdays at 6pm
Milkman's Jamboree
3 Hubbell St
Ahmeek, MI
Host: Howard Hart

Bring your instrument if you want to play or bring a dish if you want eat. All music styles welcome. Every other Saturday we get together for pot luck dinner and entertainment. Lots of guitarists, some banjo\mandolin pickets, couple a bass players, the occasional drummer and\or fiddle player! Chris plays delightfully on the keys when she sows and even some pretty mean harmonica players show up. Most everyone sings. Audience style seating for around 50 people and a large kitchen area for food. There are 4 vocal plus 4 instrument mikes, 2 extra instrument mikes, a few amps, input for keyboard and electric guitar; all connected to a 24 channel mixer feeding a PA and monitors.

Just show up an Howard will introduce himself and get you seated or set up to play. Music is their most common, poetry is occasional and comedy is preferred.

If you're not coming for the fun, you may want to come for the variety of music.

Right off US 41 behind the Ice Cream Parlor in Ahmeek (the old Milk Depot) - 20 miles north of Houghton, MI
