Love Tinker's! Great crowd, great music, great vibe. Child and teen friendly, if you want them up that late. Can be hard to find if you don't know the area, but your gps can do it.

Open mic at Fiddler's now starts at 7:00, with the signup sheet usually out by 6:30. It is done by 9:30 . . . until further notice. As of next month, the Hearth will have rotating hosts. Scott Caviness and Jeetta Cruise are two of the hosts. I don't know the other two. joHn Kennedy jR (mE) will be hosting the 5th Wednesday of months that have 5.

May be the best open mic in northern Indiana. Always booked solid with excellent performers. Tends towards folk and originals but some do acoustic rock covers. Fantastic beer selection.

Got to the open mic early and was told that all the slots had been booked up 2 days earlier. I was told that sometimes it is booked a week in advance. "You have to sign up via email, and this open mic has rules!!! It is mainly folk, low-key singer/songwriter music, and they don't allow profanity or anything remotely resembling rock or hip-hop; this is good to know before going."
