Acoustic Songwriter Open Mic 4th Wednesday of every month 6:30 to 9:30 *SIGN-UPS taken at door. $ Donation entry, players comped. Hosted by local Open Mic officianado Canyon White, this is NOT your average Open Mic. It's a unique acoustic showcase for original songs only. A special monthly event where the songwriters and the people who appreciate them are supported. Open to any acoustic style, genre, whether instrumental, acapella, solo, duo, young or grandpa. If you're an aspiring song writer wanting to be heard and not currently signed to any major recording studio~ This is it! Held in a dedicated Listening room, the acoustics and ambiance are ideal where each artist will experience the joy of performing live to a receptive community without any clashing bar noise. (awesome!) Just the connection between audience and performer unabated. Exactly the attention your work deserves. So grab your axe and/or your voice and come feel the support! At this event, you'll have the opportunity to participate in the "Monthly Favorite Songwriter" selection. Best song of the evening will be evaluated lyrics, melody and presentation. Then at the end of the year, all the chosen monthly "Favorites" will be brought back to compete in the Show-down for a nice prize package! A 3 hour event with 2 intermissions. Light beverages and snacks will be available. Note to artists: Bring your own mic if you can Original songs only Stay/ Support others See you at the Parlor!
