I am Shyler D. Floyd, a 23 yr old, new and upcoming country artist from the Texas Hill Country. In Feb. 2010, I released both an album entitled "Texas Sunrise" and a gorgeous title track video of the same name filmed at my families homestead. My roots run right thru the song, evoking imagery of life on a working ranch with lyrics like "Living day to day, facing struggles in my life..." The song depicts the axiom that life's tough, but you can draw strength from faith "...everything'll be okay." We packed the house at the Burnet Community Center at the release. Our enthusiastic fan base encouraged more and larger performances. I've had a passion for Texas Country Music since I was a young boy old enough to hold a guitar. Throughout school years, my passion was to entertain friends with my music. After college, I decided to pursue a career in what I love to do the most, music. I have been influenced by clean-living artists such as George Strait and my sound reflects the life I know.
