I first began playing the guitar twn years ago during the end of my freshman year of high school. I never had a lesson and self-taught myself through books and tabs. I didn't go very far with learning new things because my best friend and I started playing songs together and he was the lead guitarist while I strummed the rhythm and sang. In the years since, we ended up drifting apart creatively and I am in the process of improving my technique. I'm not nearly as good as I should be after playing ten years, although I have never really wanted to be a shredder. I'm more of the singer/songwriter type. But I hope to get better with some other things, and learn some good blues riffs. Also, I'd like to meet some other people who could join me and my bassist in our band.
