I started playing trumpet in grade school. In high school I started to play guitar. I think the Beatles had a lot to do with that. I got my first guitar in 1970, and still have it, a "Toredo" acoustic. I wrote my first song in July of 2007. I never thought I had anything to say, but I wrote 3 songs the first day. I have 125 songs that have copy writes, and a few more songs in the works. My first CD is called "The Barn Is Still Standing", followed by "Cute Dog", "Timely music", “Three Wishes” and “Pictures They Remind Us”. I wrote "Pictures..." As part of the sound track for a documentary that my wife and I made about my dad's WW-2 memories. He was a photographer in the war and flew in a B-24 bomber. In 2008 I entered the "U.S.A. Songwriting Competition" (an international contest) and placed in the top ten, for a song I call "Mr.. Hanky". Enjoy the music, Mark Boucher © 2010 Mark D. Boucher
