I am a performing and creative artist that heads the Theatre/Dance programs at Mercer County Community College. The space I work in (the Studio Theatre) is beyond amazing, and I love opening this black box to performers of all kinds to use in the form of an open-mic event. I love art of all kinds. I draw, dance tango, act, direct, and choreograph in post-neo-modern context. I can do the classical thing too! Therefore my open-mic is one big artistic love bubble where a performer can do and say anything, and the audience has the right to walk out on what it doesn't like or want to hear, watch, etc. All performers get between five to ten minutes to share their gifts.
