My given name is Holly Kay Peterson, but my stage name is HKPoet. I'm a floetry/spoken word/slam poet. I majored in creative writing with an emphasis in poetry. That experience exposed me to all types of forms of poetry, but I have always been drawn to and most passionate about rhyming and poetry that flows. That's how I roll =)
