Nurtured by his small town, southern upbringing, and influenced by some of the most prolific musical artists from the last century, Ashe Watson, an Alabama native, is one of the most promising and talented up and coming musicians in the music industry.
He attributes his distinctive songwriting ability to spending time with his uncle, Brandon Barnes, a Grammy nominated songwriter, who is credited for some of Brian McKnights biggest hits, such as Anytime, One Last Cry, and Never Felt This Way.
Ashe also attributes much of his vocal ability to working with Brian McKnight himself and being in the studio when Barnes and Mcknight worked there
