Connie (9/2008): Blues jam hosted by The Big Boy Little Band with Bret Littlehales (vocals & harmonica), Rusty Bogart, Robbie Leebrick and Kevin Forder. GREAT blues band/great musicians - one of the best blues bands in the area!! This is DC's only blues-only club with blues every Fri. & Sat. night. Great burgers, hand cut fries, onion rings and salads too! Directly across from the Zoo. Friendly, neighborhood bar. You never know who will stop in to jam. Last week brothers Bobby Radcliff and Bruce Ewan played for an appreciative crowd. Lots of great nights of music at this jam!
Mrs. Steve (7/2007): Blues jam, with the Big Boy Little band playing from 8:30-9:30, and open jam starting at 9:30, but best get there before 8:30 to sign up. Harp player Big Boy Little "likes to field full bands", the expectation is pretty much that you can step into a blues band and play well, and that the audience experience will be of blues bands that have it together. For each set of the jam portion, he'll mix together another set of the players who show up. All electric blues. Great for blues musicians.
