Hosted by John Sarty
Main St.Jackson, NH 603-383-4245
- The new host is John Sarty with The White Mountain Boys and there is a drum set there. Good music with good players some new faces but it was a fun time there.
Jeff Wright (10/2008)- There has been a change, Al Hosper is not the host anymore and there are no drums setup anymore.
Anonymous (9/2008)- Made a visit to the tavern ,the jam still going strong lots of support there. If you play bass come on down so Al can take a break, he had to play all night, so come on down there & support live music when ever you can.
Jeff Wright (6/2008)- Hey" I think it was last year 'was the last time I was in Jackson , It was great to get back and play there again, I heard some new players ; this is good. Felt great to play there I' try to make all the open mics when I can. Thank;you Al for hosting a jam like this it, always has a good feel to it. See you soon I hope where ever I can go I'll be there "paying my dues to play the blues".
Jeff Wright (11/2007)
who is the host now
Anonymous (12/2006)- Actually I (Al Hospers) am running it these days. I split the duties last year with Pete Bettencourt. now under the new owners I'm doing it myself every week. I play bass and sing and have a funky/jazzy trio that plays the first hour, starting at about 8:15. After that it opens up. I think that it's a great scene, and probably the best open mic in central NH. There are lots of great players that drop in every week and there is a very appreciative crowd of regulars and newcomers every week.
