Hi, I just want to say thank you to to all the new

friends we've made since starting this jam.

Like-minded considerate individuals getting together to

make a joyful noise is a wonderful thing.

Most places will allow under age players as long there"s a parent with them and as long food is still being served. Best thing is to get there early, but remember if it is a "Blues Jam" it should be blues.

Are you allowed to play if you are 16 but accompanied by an adult?

Kids of all ages are encouraged to play some blues - the youngest we've had so far was 7 years old… the oldest, hmmmm maybe 70. If you're under 18, bring a parent or guardian, please.

Well I went to this blues jams because a drummer told me that there where good players there, and he was right. Well I drove 2 hours to get there from Parsonsfield Maine and this venue sets back from the bank and pizza shop in the mall which there are many there. Some players in the blues world can uderstand when I say it was worth it others can not but if this jam was close to them I"m sure they would go there. Well big thanks to Howard for getting me up to play three times he knew what a long drive it was for me to get there ,and the long drive back home. This was my lucky night the players where great the patron"s where big blues fans and I got to play with the owner who plays the sax, how cool is that.Go on line to see this venue, it truely is a nice setup. The ride home for me was a breeze I had all green lights ,no snow on the roads I"m glad I went this is a good blues jam support live misic when you can. Thank you to every one that I met your where all so kind. "Paying my dues to play the blues"
