I showed up because it says here that July 2nd was happening, but nothing was going on. Should I always call first to save a long ride?
Steve Mastrangelo (7/2008): Your right Jerry, in the middle of nowhere, and with gas at 4.00 a gallon and climbing, 5.00 at the door and pass the hat for features, and buy a drink or two and munchies, gets to be quite an expensive "fun" night out topping 50 bucks or more to hear someone you don't know, count me out… Why don't you sell brownies or something and drop the door charge… Jeez
greg (6/2008): 5.00 at the door and pass the hat, and it's in the middle of nowhere so you have to fill your tank with gas then you have to buy your refreshments, and if you wanted to perform you have to know a week or month in advance what you may feel like doing that night in the future…
jerry (6/2007): $5 at the door, pass the hat for the feature. Music from 7:30 to 10, feature at 8:30. Players should sign up in advance at the host's email address (greystone@net1plus.com) for 15-minute slots. Refreshments available at the store downstairs. New host Nate Smith takes over for founder Basil Harris.
Sam Bayer (12/2006): I play there often. Great crowd that apreciates all performers. BYOB, and if you forget, you can buy your PowerBall tickets downstairs at the store.
