I've attended many open mics in Long Beach and this is the one they strive to be like. People are (generally) respectful and supportive, and you definitely get heard. All different kinds of people every week and a great host!

great place, alysandra is gracious and down to earth, I cannot fathom the negative comments here.

I would say two songs would be nice for musicians. But it's a minor issue compared to the great crowd and talent there. Good place to get noticed, too, if you're embarking on a performance career.

Super awesome. Friendly, diverse, lots of talent, and a terrific space - good local art, delicious food and coffee, etc. What open mics should be. Wish I could go more often.

Great vibe. Ally (sp?) does a great job as host - very welcoming and supportive. I was amazed at the level of talent. Some great poets and musicians. This is definitely going to be a regular venue for me.
