Ron Burton (1/2008) Hey Ron, is this open mike worth the trip across the bridge for me. By the way I am Chuck the trumpet player from Buckingham Blues Bar, Casey's Alley, Indigo Room, Windjammer, etc, and soon The Smiling Dog Saloon Chuck (1/2008) Is this the "formerly known as Beatniks"? If so, I would love to come play an open mic night. What would I have to bring/ what do you provide? Lauren (1/2008) Hey Lauren, no Beat-niks changed it's name to Jumpin Java then it closed down. The Twisted Conch is past Scorz Sports Bar and open-jam is held outside.Another thing Ron Burton told me it is mostly Jimmy Buffet type songs. If you are asking what they provide well they provide the sound equipment and I guess you have to provide your own instruments. If you are 21 or older I would check out all the other open-mikes/open jams.I am usually at one of them. I play the trumpet and I have played professionally and right now I am trying to make more contacts.Other than that I just enjoy playing music!
