This is to introduce a new 'open mic' venue on Wednesday nights, beginning on July 11, 2012 in Jackson, NJ at Tommy's Inn at Millstone. Tommy's is a friendly neighborhood sports bar and grill that is a stone's throw away from Six Flags Great Adventure and the Jackson Premium Outlets. The new venue will be hosted by members of 'BluesPrint' a classic rock/blues band that regularly appears at Tommy's and will serve as the house band and will provide the backup support. We will be providing a 'backline' of drums, guitar and bass amps, a PA system and Keyboard support. All musical acts, all ages, and full bands, are welcome. The goal is to provide an opportunity for musicians of all levels to get in front of a live audience. Everyone will be warmly greeted and no booing will be allowed. All we ask is to keep it clean, no profanity, keep the volume under control and keep it fun for your fellow musicians and the listening patrons. Each act will be limited to approximately 3-songs or 15 minutes, dependent on the number of participants and the given time constraints. The goal will certainly be to allow everyone an opportunity to go up and perform. Signup will begin at 7:00PM and will go till approximately 10:00PM. The food and drinks at Tommy's are awesome where they have a full bar, a Happy Hour and a warm and friendly staff. Their menu features a variety of burgers, steaks, drinks and seafood dishes, and dress is always casual.

So bring your 'axe', 'drumsticks', musical chops and enthusiasm.

All of us that make up 'BluesPrint' are always looking to jam out and meet new musicians. So come out, join us and help us support and promote the concept of 'live music' in Jackson at Tommy's on Wednesday nights.
