One note: more than most "regular" open mikes, this one takes a fair number of days off when sports events or miscellaneous things sidetrack their commitment to the open mike. It is safest to call the bar before trekking out, or contact Adam through his MySpace page linked above.
Tony Lovell (3/2008): It's different each time. Sometimes upstairs in the Loft with a sound system, and sometimes in the basement with no sound support at all. Oddly, the latter works splendidly, as the crowd dynamic quiets right down for you. Usually, you can do around 12-15 minutes of playing. In that way, it is informal.
