It your audience friendly to old time country?

I have not played at an open-mic for a couple of years due to a motorcycle accident. My guitar playing suck… really, but I can sometime carry a tune.

Had a great time last night. I'm from ATL and I was a walk-in stranger as I am eveywhere since I travel. It felt like seeing old friends. Big thanks to Cheryl, she's a gracious and talented host, she gives you plenty of time to do 4 or 5 tunes. Very sweet lady, very encouraging and she runs a tight show. And the talent? From newbie to pro, and very diverse. One of my favorites was the band SKB (I think that was their name), the singer sounds a bit like James McMurtry. This open mic is highly recommended by The Irish Swede.

No cover, most anything goes but recently it's been acoustic guitars and vocals. Would love to have more drummers (small kits only) & bass players. Not a large venue. Small pub~like setting.
