what are the 'rules'? thanks
Larry Cooney (3/2008)- Who wudda thunk it? My how times flies. Anyway, in spite of my over sight in updating this page, the open mike at Tizley's EuroPub continues ever onwards. The quality of the musicians keeps improving either through gaining the experience of playing live or 'stick to it' attitude. It's been called 'the place to go in Poulsbo on Wednesday'. Come see for yourself, you won't regret it. All ages, all styles. Performers receive a complimentary beverage. See you there. :)
Kimberly Lynn (12/2007)- Hello Everyone. :) Some five months after the start of Tizley's open mike and we're still going strong. Many thanks to the rotating hosts who upheld the open mike 'tradition' and covered for me during my roadtrip to points east and south. It's a pleasure to return and see all the 'old' familiar faces and lay down such good music and grooves. Many thanks to all those who participate. On a new 'note' we're 'entertaining' the thought of video taping and posting clips of performers on the web. Stay tuned for more information as we 'work the details'. Continuing onwards in the 'grand ole tradition' Kimberly Lynn - Your hostess for the evenings entertainment and pleasure at Tizley's EuroPub.
Kimberly Lynn (6/2007)- The sixth open mike, right here in beautiful downtown Poulsbo, was another wonderful evening of live music with 13 musicians, counting myself, and often full house of music afficionados. This is getting to be quite the hot spot. Thanks to John, Don, Dave, Andrew, Jules, Edward, Joey, John, Paul, Julie, Sandy and Baker. It's cause of folks like these we're having such great success. I highly recommend coming out to see for yourselves. You won't be disappointed. Hope to se you there.
Kimberly Lynn (2/2007)- I think we have a trend here with the double digit turnout at the fifth weekly open mike session at the Europub. Thanks to Jeff, John, Jeremy and Andrew (first timers), Jim, Gene, Mike, Dave, Paul, Julie and Baker. Counting myself, we had twelve players laying down some serious groove. At one point we had another six piece 'band' jamming. It's some pretty good times going on here, so I hope to see all those who might be thinking about it, but not made it out yet. I'm sure when you do, you won't be disappointed. Hope to see you there.
