This was the first and friendliest open mic I played at in Chicago. Dan, the host, is encouraging and professional, the bar staff (not to mention the array of quality beer and specials) is excellent, and the players range from "should-be-on-the-radio-they're-that-kick-butt" to folks just starting out. Occasionally the place is too noisy but that's a risk I'm more than willing to take every week. Highly recommended!
