Anonymous (9/2007): Jarvis to that I would add write a damn song, play your music. Inteadof learning how someone else plays find out what you have to say. And to the host playing too much, I say this. It is hard being as cool as he is, it tough:) and I agree host should do four - six then run the list.
lil voice in the head (5/2007): You know I really hate to say anything negative about someone trying to organize local live music… Put it this way… If you like poorly performed covers of shitty modern rock bands like, puddle of mudd or nickelback… Performed by a host that uses the open mic to play a whole show of his own… This is your place. You know acoustic music isn't for guys who weren't talented enough to play in a rock band. It's a completely different art form. If you're going to play solo acoustic, learn to do something with the instrument other than strumming. Sorry, I just needed to vent…
