Phil Knudsen (5/2007): This open mike now has 3 hosts who rotate (Trish and Phil are the hosts for two weeks each month), and is also sometimes a bluegrass open mike. See the calendar on the web site for what's when. There's a feature around 9 PM. There's a random draw at 8 PM. Admission is free for members, $5 for non-members.
Sam Bayer (12/2006) As of May 2007 - the hosts are Mark Stepakoff 1st and 2nd Mondays and Trisha and Phil Knudsen 3rd and 4th Mondays. Check www.trishandphil-music.com for updated info on features and times. Phil Knudsen (8/2007): $5 cover for non-members, and it takes a little while to warm up to you, but it IS a well known place for the local big names (we ran across Rose Palanzani - who I KNOW I can't spell). You can't book it unless you're a member. Good talent. Beautiful sound system.
rob ilyAIMY (8/2006): This open mike has a feature around 9 PM. There's a random draw at 8 PM. If there's a lot of people, it's a one-song night, but there's more than one pass through the list for folks who want to stay late. Admission is $3.
