- Like the other open mics rob of ilyAIMY hosts, this one is great, and diverse! Anything goes as long as it's relatively family-friendly, and no full drumkits. The venue is a cavernous open space so real loud stuff can just get… boomy. There is usually a featured act in the middle, and the night is usually webcast live. Love this venue too (minus parking which is not always easy to find close by). Order the shrimp & grits and tea-infused sangria! Their happy hour extends all through open mic as well.

- As of October of 2012 rob of the band ilyAIMY has taken the reigns at Teavolve. Now the night is broadcast Live at www.ustream.tv/channel/robsopenmics and recorded in multi-track lossless digital audio. It's not a bad thing! Sign up's still at 6.30pm, music and poetry from 7-10pm.

- A clean, modern and roomy coffeehouse that also serves grog. I played here October 2011 and it was a good time… the audience has real respect for the performers and does not talk over your tunes. It starts early and ends early… you can be home by 9:15 Pm or drive to Ledbetters in Fells Point to play a second set like I did… it starts when Teavolve finishes their open mic

- All ages and all skill levels are welcome, collaboration and tomfoolery are encouraged. That said, the venue has a full bar and menu - both are delicious and affordable. We cannot accommodate a full drum kit, but if you have a snare/hi-hat setup and/or hand percussion, that would be fine. Teavolve closes at 10:00 on Mondays, so you're welcome to call/email/facebook to get on the list if you can't make it in time for sign-up at 6:30. This is primarily a music open mic, but other talents are welcome.
