Cool open mic! Been here a few times. The Tavern is right on a lake with an outdoor café so it's a good place to bring friends. The hosts are very fair and try to get everyone up time allowing. Lots of local talent shows as well as players of all levels. On any given night you can get guitar, harp, bass and sometimes percussion backup to whatever you're doing which can make for a great sound.

This is a good open mic. John and Cary are nice guys and seem to enjoy hearing new performers. The Crowd seemed to be into listening to the performers as well. The acoustics are not great as the stage is in this weird little booth… not a big deal as you can be heard.

Bring yourself, friends,instruments and tunes to share. The open mic starts at 8:00PM and runs till 11:00 somtimes longer. Three songs with more possible. All types of music and bands are welcome. Played this open mike and it ROCKS! Everyone there was very cool! Very warm reception and talent there, what the hell, make a friend while you're there. I would recommend this house to all of any talent or genre. and yes there IS a house kit and PA if you are a full band!

This is a fun open mike right on the lakefront now being hosted by my friend John Melnick and sometimes myself. We have an awesome tube powered PA and lot's of friendly musicians who will step in and jam with you if you like. Come on down!
