It truly is the best open mike in the city! Its always packed even on slow nights, if you don't get there by 8:30 you will be number 16 on the list-playing at 1:30! They cheer you on even if you suck! The best live rehearsal in the town!!!!

best open mic in the city, hands down. best host, best talent, best crowd, best bartender, best specials ($3 drafts… some really good beers too), best EVERYTHING. come check it out even if you don't play. its a blast.

This open mic experience was by far the most magical, inviting, spiritual and creatively exhilarating open mic I have ever been to! Everything was perfect ~ the host Narciso Lobo, absolutely amazing and the crowd ~ diverse, talented beyond belief, kind, supportive, humble, true musicians and now friends! This was my first time and I will always go back as often as I can. It felt like I was part of something very special. Thank you for a wonderful night and making me feel so welcome and appreciated.

This is a very popular open mic - the previous comment about getting there by 8:30 to sign up is true. I got there around 9:30 and was already 12th on the list. Each person gets 3 songs or 15 min, whichever comes first. This place can get pretty crazy (in a cool way). Very diverse mix (i've heard rock, rap, gospel, reggae, etc). Crowd is very supportive and host Narciso is very cool.

I just want to say that I love the Sub-T open mic. Its a very chill atmosphere and everyone there is very supportive for the right reasons.
