Hi Folks, The Studio 99 appears to be a happening musical Hot spot. I'd love to play some jazz with some new folks.

- Don't read music or chord symbols, but love to play by ear? Please show up! We're happy to tailor the evening towards more Blues, played by ear, depending on our turnout for the night.

jazz (swing, latin, funk, fusion) and blues jam. Open to instrumentalists and singers. All levels; beginners welcome (it's fine to jump in and play an easier tune, then jump out and listen to the more difficult tunes). We pride ourselves on a mutually supportive, respectful atmosphere.
If you want to work on tunes which aren't in the Real Book, bring multiple copies of your own charts.
$5.00 "in the hat", or $6.00 in advance, via PayPal.
Ages 14 and up, smoke-free and alcohol-free.
