Good musicians here and you will get a fair chance to play. If you tell Howard your style he will try to get you up with compatible players. What a pleasure.
T Labonte (8/2008): Well run jam. Equipment provided. Stage gives too much room to rhythm section and squeezes the lead players. Director does not allow mike hogs. Great food, reasonable drinks. Younger crowd. Nice vsriety of good music… not the same ole you hear each night at the other local jam sessions.
Bill Lecouer (8/2008): Fun place, lots of good players, long ride from Parsonsfield Maine. This venue has lots of blues fans this seems to be the place on Sunday nite. Oh yes I did play some blues harp & listen to a few guys that I never heard before they where good; Howard does a good job on matching up the players. Glad I went I'll be back some time soon, remember support live music. Ride with a friend save gas when you can thanks Marc P. for getting me up there via the back roads of NH.
Jeff Wright (1/2008): The house band with host Howard Randall is a great and the Strange Brew Tavern is a fun place to hang out. Music and food are excellent,and the staff is friendly.
