Unfortunately, the open mic will not be going on for Labor Day Monday, however, after speaking with them on the phone they have informed me that the host usually arrives around 8:30 pm and the list sign-up generally begins around then. Hope this helps.

I don't run this open mic but I go to this one somewhat often so I can tell what I do know about this open mic to help with some of the questions on here. Stan and Joe's is a bar not a family restaurant or a family bar. You have to be old enough to get into a bar as Stan and Joe's does card at the door. Doesn't matter if you are only there to sing… I don't know about lyric restrictions but I was told that I have to where my hat in the forward position (not backwards like I usually do) or I would have to leave, so I would imagine they probably have rules against profanity as well. I have heard folks there singing acapella. I hope this helps.
