For those of you that have participated we thank you so much. You know what a great time is had by all. For those who have not yet participated please come and join in the fun.

Due to the great response we have had to this event and the large number of participants we have found it necessary to modify the event in order to accommodate all. Here are the changes that we will be implementing:

We will be returning to the classic rock/folk type music on a monthly basis. However, we going to be hosting heavy metal jams 3-4 times a year (Stay Tuned for updates) on a different night other than our Friday Open Mic Night.

We are also going to look to move the Open Mic season to a September to May formant and take the summers off. Again we want to thank everyone for their participation and hope these changes will accommodate everyone.

Please remember Souhegan Christian Church recognizes there are very talented musicians in the Souhegan Valley. This is an effort to continue to foster the arts in the local area.

Souhegan Christian Church (SCC) will be hosting an Open Mic Night, the 3rd Friday of every month at 8pm. This is a free, family friendly event.

Souhegan Christian Church recognized there are very talented musicians in the Souhegan Valley. In an effort to continue to foster the arts in the local area, Souhegan Christian Church is hosting "Music at The Ledge" an Open Mic night the 3rd Friday of every month from 8pm to 10pm. "If you like performing in front of others, just want to try out a new song, or simply enjoy live performances," "Music at The Ledge" Open Mic Night is the perfect event for you!" states coordinator David Lyons

"This is a great venue to play in," said one of the performers from the January Music at the Ledge. "The sound is great, the lighting and stage are better than most, and the spectators were respectful and listened to the music. I really hope this takes off!" This will provide local musicians with an opportunity to practice their craft before a live audience.

There is no cover charge: free to play and free to stay. We will provide amplifiers, mixers, microphones, stands; speakers and cables are ready for your use. All you have to do is bring any of your instruments, materials and creativity to Open Mic night. All musical styles are welcome: folk, classic rock, jazz and blues.

We ask that those who contribute to the evening would remember that "Music at The Ledge" is a family environment, and so please NO profanity and or adult content. Sign up starts at 7:30 pm. However, you can guarantee a time slot by sending an email ahead of time to MusicAtTheLedge@sccofnh.org.
