- I don't know why people keep talking about how cliquish this jam session is. I went for the first time about 6 weeks ago and was greeted VERY warmly. People just hang out, sing songs, drink beer, and have a good time. It's not a place to bring your egos, so check those at the door. It's just a place to have fun playing music with people who range from beginners all the way to professional level artists.

- Anyone who's been to songwriter circles knows the rules. That's not the problem, the problem is, it is cliquish. Less than a handful actually listen. There are regulars (who seem to mostly play covers)and they think they are the cat's pajamas. With it being such a great venue, I was disappointed.

- This is a songwriter's jam essentially, but folk, rock, blues, country and other covers also allowed. Circle jams - each person plays a song then goes to next person all the way around. It's not cliquish, it's just that you're expected not to play on someone else's song unless asked or unless you're skill level is truly capable of doing so extremely well. Really nice folks!!!

- very cool place to hang out; however if you are not on the top of your skill, then do not bother as it is very 'clickish'; obvious who the regulars are; bad experience

- No sign up needed, music in the round, just pull up a chair! This venue also brings in live acts from around the world. It's an incredible supporter of independent music.
