im interested in doing some stand up, i honestly take humor seriously.(as seriously as humor can be taken, while still being humorous) how do i go about getting myself a spot on stage? and what are the requirements?

I played here again this past wednesday, March 3rd. The Sound and Crowd was a whole lot better. They have a Get your Song on the Radio Contest going on until April. Mark is a very nice guy and is very patient with set up. the last time was just my effects pedal got set too loud in between point A and Point B.

I have to say I was not fond of this place. I have to give it another shot to be shure. All though they do have a great stage. The host did something weird to my sound. I play heavy metal so I thought it was maybe my effects pedal that caused the distortion. But when I listened to good ol Happy Ron's set after me, it sounded distorted as well. I also ran it through my own P.A. at home which is only 150 watts and my stuff is crystal clear. The host did something with the P.A. while I was playing. Probably not on purpose. Plus the crowd was the worst I have played for yet. They truly do not care about what anybody is doing. Bring your own crowd if you go.
