Leif Werner (12/2009): Doubtless THE best OM in Kitsap County. Performances are varied - a cellist performed last Saturday - and the standard is high but not intimidating. The audience is encouraging and appreciative, occasionally joining a refrain in two- or three-part harmony. Kudos to rotating hosts Larry, Emily, and Georgia, et al.
etienne (11/2006): Please sign up before 7 pm. We only have 14 slots. At 7:00, 14 names are drawn from the hat, the order of performance being determined by the order in which they're drawn. The drawing will be done out front, so that independent auditors can gather round. Those performers who didn't get a slot are then put on a waiting list (in case someone leaves early, or "scratches"). Each slot is 8 minutes long; that should give you time for two medium-length songs and a modicum of patter. Note that this is a firmer guideline than it used to be, so we can make sure the featured act goes on at 9:30 sharp.
