Hey i was looking for somewhere to do an open mic for the first time, but i only have an acoustic guitar. Is an amp required in order to be heard?

- Sacred Grounds has become one of my favorite open mics. I go there almost religiously now. The place has a great energy with a loyal following, an attentive audience and no limits to the artistry of the people who play there. It's been good to me when I was just starting out and good to me now that I'm a bit more experienced. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
